The problem
Your product data is there, just not in the quote
A customer asks about twenty products for a school class. By the time the quote is ready, half an hour has gone by – item numbers typed out, prices looked up, subtotals double-checked in a spreadsheet.
Yet every product in your shop has a number, a name, a price and a tax rate. These are exactly the four details every line of a quote needs. As a rule they are still copied into a document by hand – with all the typos and outdated prices that come with it.
- Item no. DR-210
- Name Kita-Dreirad Kompakt
- Price €219.00 net
- VAT 19 %
- taken over
- up to date
- calculated
Copied by hand: typos and last year’s price.
Whoever puts a clean quote on the table first gets the order.
With requests from schools, clubs and companies, response time is often what decides. With FHU SALES, half an hour of writing a quote becomes a matter of a few minutes.
How a quote comes together
Find products, add to them, create the PDF
Find products
Search by name, item number, EAN and manufacturer, and add several results at once. If a product is already in the quote, the quantity goes up instead of adding a second line.
Custom lines
Anything not in the shop – assembly, delivery, a custom-made piece – you enter as a custom line. With its own description and its own price.
Finished PDF
One click creates the quote as a PDF – with line items, totals, tax breakdown, letterhead and logo. You download it and send it to your customer as usual.
Straight from the request in your shop
The way from shopping cart to quote
When a customer sends a quote request from the shopping cart in your shop, an email goes to your business. That email contains a link that opens the application directly with the request: the requested products are selected, the quantities entered, the customer’s contact details and message filled in. You check, add what is missing and create the PDF – without a single detail being typed out.
- The request with the customer’s contact details and message – visible while editing, not in the quote
- The prices do not come from the link, but always fresh from your range – so an older request cannot carry outdated prices into the quote
- Custom line for delivery, assembly or special requests
- Customer details – company, contact person and address, already filled in
If a requested product can’t be found in your range, it isn’t lost: it goes into the quote marked as such, and you decide what to do with it.
1234What the quote contains
Everything a quote needs
- Quote number and date, plus a valid-until date
- Customer details – company and contact person, with full address
- Line items with item number, description, quantity, unit price and total price – every line stays editable: number, description, EAN, price, tax rate, quantity
- Product images in the PDF – switched on or off as you like
- If you like, an address field for the envelope, positioned for window envelopes
- Letterhead and logo
- The customer’s address
- Quote number and date
- Line items with image, item number and EAN
1234Terms, delivery time, letterhead
- Discount as a percentage on the whole quote – as a line of its own, allocated per tax rate
- Shipping costs or the note “free shipping”; product images switched on or off
- Letterhead and logo: I set them up for your business during setup, several to choose from if you like. Every quote then has the same look, without you having to maintain a template.
- Delivery time as text, for example “2–3 working days”; plus notes for special terms or follow-up questions
1234Calculated and checked
FHU SALES calculates totals, discount and VAT – even with 7 % and 19 % in the same quote. The tax breakdown is right because the tax rate comes from the product data in your shop.
Checked before it is created: if the name, the street or an item number is missing, the application tells you beforehand – not the customer who has received an incomplete quote.
- Discount as a line of its own
- VAT per tax rate
- Shipping costs
- Delivery time
1234Respond faster
Whoever puts a clean quote on the table first gets the order. With requests from schools, clubs and companies, response time is often what decides.
No copying errors
Item numbers, prices and tax rates come from your shop, not from a list typed out by hand.
A consistent look
Every quote looks the same – no matter who created it.
A worked example
A quote with twenty line items by hand: look up item numbers and prices in the shop, transfer them to the template, recalculate VAT and discount, type out the address. Half an hour is a conservative estimate. With ten requests a week, that is around 20 hours a month a skilled employee spends copying.
If the request comes from the shop, FHU SALES fills in everything with one click; you check, add custom lines and create the PDF. And because prices and tax rates come from the shop, the source of error that causes the most trouble disappears: the quote with last year’s price.
Half an hour of writing a quote becomes a few minutes.

From the request in your shop to the finished quote
Recorded in a demo shop with a made-up daycare centre. FHU SALES works for any shop that writes quotes – office furniture, tools or school supplies alike. The video is in German.
From the request in your shop to the finished quote
Shopping cart, email, one click, finished PDF
Video transcript
A daycare centre puts together a shopping cart in your shop and asks for a quote. The request reaches you as an email – with all the products and a link. One click is enough – and the quote is ready: products and quantities have been taken over. Nothing is typed out. Prices and tax rates come up to date from your shop. No outdated price, no typo. The daycare centre’s address is already filled in. You see the customer’s message while editing. It does not appear in the quote. The customer would like some scooter boards as well? The search finds every product in your range. You change quantities with one click. Delivery, assembly, special requests: anything not in the shop becomes a custom line. Special terms such as a daycare discount are entered quickly. FHU SALES calculates totals, discount and VAT – even with 7 % and 19 % in the same quote. Enter the delivery time, choose the letterhead. One click – the quote is done. The finished quote: your letterhead, every line item with image, item number and price, discount, totals and VAT clearly shown. Ready to send to the customer.
Works well with
The Gambio module Quote request from the cart lets daycare centres, schools, clubs and companies request a quote straight from the shopping cart. The email to you contains the link that opens the request in FHU SALES. I connect the two during setup.
Setup and support
I take care of the setup: I install the interface in your shop and set up the letterhead, logo and quote template for your business. After that, I continue to look after FHU SALES, including through Gambio updates. If you have questions, problems or feature requests, you can reach me by email at any time.

Good to know
- Gambio 4.x and later
- The software runs with every Gambio version since 4.x. I still recommend keeping Gambio up to date: every update closes security gaps and brings new features. On request, I carry out the update for you.
- Servers in Germany
- The software runs on servers in Germany.
- No changes to Gambio
- No Gambio file is modified, so a shop update overwrites nothing.
- Developed further with you
- The software is developed continuously, driven by feedback from its users. Individual changes and extensions that fit your company's processes are available on request.
