Gambio experience since 2011
I have been developing Gambio modules since 2011 and know the shop system across many versions: where it can be extended, where it has its quirks and what an update changes.
No changes to the Gambio core
Modules use the extension points Gambio provides. No Gambio file is modified, so a shop update does not overwrite the modules.
Automated tests for every feature
Whatever a module promises, a test checks it in the running shop. After an update or a change, a test run shows whether everything still works, before your customers notice.
Clean, readable code
Clear structure, meaningful names, small units. A later extension becomes a manageable job instead of a risk.
Developed further through your feedback
The products keep evolving, driven by feedback from their users. If you need a change or an extension that fits your company's processes, I build it on request.

Does anything have to change in my shop?

No. The software uses the extension points Gambio provides and works on the data your shop already maintains: filters, properties, additional fields (Zusatzfelder). No Gambio file is modified.

What happens with the next Gambio update?

Because nothing in the Gambio core is changed, an update overwrites nothing. Automated tests run before every release, including against the new version of the shop system, and on request I check your installation again after every update.

Who sets up the software?

I do. Installing the interface, creating the account, tuning the software to your range. After that I keep supporting it. With questions, problems or requests you reach the developer directly, not a hotline.

Can I see the software first?

Yes. Every product page shows the software in videos and screenshots. Beyond that, I am happy to demonstrate it to you before you decide.

What does it cost?

The products start at €29 per month, plus VAT; you will find the starting price of each product on its page. Set-up is included, you only pay once the software is running in your shop, and you can cancel monthly at the end of the month. For custom modules and development you receive a quote before any work is done.

Which Gambio versions are supported?

Every version since Gambio 4.x. I still recommend keeping Gambio up to date: every update closes security gaps and brings new features. On request, I carry out the update for you.

Does the software make me dependent on an outside server?

No. FHU FINDER, for example, writes the search terms directly into your shop; the search runs there without a connection to any other server. If the FHU FINDER service is ever down, your shop keeps searching without restriction; at worst, new search terms are calculated a little later. And because only search terms are stored, a later move to another shop system remains straightforward.

Where is my data stored?

The software runs on servers in Germany. Only for the optional AI suggestions in FHU FINDER are product data and search terms sent to an AI service, never customer data; the feature can be switched off completely.

Can the software be adapted to our processes?

Yes. The products are developed continuously, often prompted by feedback from their users. If you need a change or an extension that fits your company's processes, I develop it on request – you receive a quote first.

My shop does not run on Gambio.

The products are built for Gambio. For other systems and your own projects I develop to order: with Java and Spring, with tests from the start. Tell me about your project.
